Inspiring Setting

I have FINALLY figured out a true event and actual place to base my ghost novel off of! The Lincoln Theater - it's built on a burial ground and stands on the property of a burnt-down hotel. It's PERFECT! I just need to find a map of the interior somewhere so I can get a good idea of what my character can explore during his investigation. Now that I have the setting, I just need to think up the overall plot - how he's going to send the spirits back...or what they want.

Yet Another Update on the still unfinished Chapter 1

Chapter one's still not finished...and all I've managed to do today was a paragraph. -_-

Flashback scene is done, now I'm going to take a little break before working on the interrogation and prison scenes. And after those are finished, chapter one will FINALLY be done.

After 5 days of being addicted to GTA 4, I have FINALLY gotten more work done on chapter 1. Phone conversation is done, and now I've currently finished writing a little of the beginning about the flashback he's having. Once that's done, the chapter will snap back to the present where the police show up, escort him to the station, interrogate him, put him in an actual prison for hold-up with a psychotic cellmate, blah blah blah...don't want to give too much of the chapter away so I'll just end it right here...

The Lying Evidence - Chapter 1

Well, Chapter one's not done yet. I've just started the phone conversation and, to tell you the truth, I'm a little lost where to go from there. For those who don't know me on Deviantart (max7345) I'll be working on this novel until June 14th, and I've cleared up a LOT of my time to get to work on this thing.

Anyway, I'll update again real soon.

Chapter 2: The Koori Batsu Finished

I've just finished re-writing chapter 2 of book one for my The Legend of Ice novel series. I must say, I feel that it turned out awesome! There's a lot of emotion and pain in this chapter, and that's probably what makes it so good. While I won't give too much away, basically Carl (Ice) finds out about his prophecy, though he doesn't exactly believe it just yet.

Epilogue Finished

No, my "The Legend of Ice" project isn't done yet, but I have finally finished writing the epilogue of the final novel. I won't give too much away, but I will tell you all that it is a bittersweet moment and demonstrates the franchise's true genres: Tragedy and Peace. While it's not exactly the happiest ending, it's still a good one and I'm more than satisfied with it.

Sword-Fighting Research Ends up Dead

One of my characters in my novel series, "The Legend of Ice" usually fights with a dual-sword style. Unfortunately, I can't seem to find any info on it. Though I can get pretty creative in a fight scene, I would still at least like to know any actual combat techniques for dual-sword fighting. If you guys know anything about a website I can look at or a book on it I can read, feel free to let me know.

Hello, all! This is just an introductory post. Nice to finally be on Blogspot after considering it for years. Anyway, I'm a writer. And I've been working on nine novels since September 2006. The most I'll be talking about on here is the progress on how my novels are going. That's about it.
